SAG Red Carpet Thoughts...

Gorgeous...Killer Bod!

I still think they are a cute couple.

Ummmm, not sure what to say.
She's lookin' like she's had a little enhancement to that Cotton Candy number.
Sticky sweet, ech.

My kind of Pretty!

Seriously Winona? What happened here?

SEXY!!!

I was really hoping for something better this time around.
Please hire ME for the Oscars!!!

Looking good Kyra; 2 for 2!

Perfectly age appropriate and fun.

Still haven't seen Black Swan but I did see
No Strings Attached and I think Natalie is adorable.

Nighty night all ;)

I'm just sayin...

A side note about Michelle's choice of dress to meet the Chinese President last week. While I think her Alexander McQueen dress looks smashing on her, I happen to agree with Mr. de la Renta about the fact that she should have worn an American designer. Here's what he said, My understanding,” de la Renta told WWD, “is that the visit was to promote American-Chinese trade — American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?” Diane Von Furstenburg, agreed as well, ""CFDA believes in promoting American fashion. Our First Lady Michelle Obama has been wonderful at promoting our designers, so we were surprised and a little disappointed not to be represented for this major state dinner."
She would have looked wonderful in an Oscar de la Renta Gown!

Disappointing is all I can Say...

OK, here's my thoughts on tonight's Red Carpet Looks:

LOVE the color and freshness of this gown. Peferct choice for Emma Stone.

Princess pretty but not really great for her. Olivia is so gorgeous with incredible coloring that I think she would have looked spectacular in a color with bold jewelry instead of this old Hollywood Glamour gown

.
Sherbet color again which I love...Rhea is beautiful in this strapless number.

Fresh and beautiful pink for Lea Michelle. So appropriate and a winner choice!

Lanvin is always right! Julianne Moore is a chic woman and wears her clothes well.

Pretty on J-Lo but not my favorite with that cape thingy.
Her body looks fabulous!

Love these two people: Robert is brilliant and Susan is a a great JR customer. This look is a little boring though. I wish Robert would have been a little more of his whimsy self.

HUH? Red fringe from Versace on January Jones. Ew...
Tacky with a capital T. Sorry, pretty girl.

Really pissed at Catherine Zeta Jones. Shame on you for not even knowing how to pronounce my dear friend Monique L'Huillier's name. Her name is Monique, it's French, not Monica!

LOVE this couple and think Kyra looks amazing in her orange gown. Love the hair, the jewelry, the whole little Bo-Ho thing she's rockin.

Are you kidding me? I really like Annette Bening but she can do so much better, even if she wants to play the, "I don't care-understated beauty thing."

Cutie Preggy Natalie ~ Sweet but not my cup of tea.

Leighton Meester: Chic, cool, young, pretty, a little bit Country Strong? I like it!

BIG YAWN!!!! Haven't we seen this before?

Definitely not getting bangs!

Nighty night!

The Big Bang!

I'm thinking about getting some bangs so I decided to search my 60's style icons Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot for a little inspiration.

How cute is Jane Birkin in her little fur chubby and wicker basket?
So my style!

NATURAL BEAUTIES

This might work for my classic JR bun on top of the head look? But what will happen when I start to sweat during yoga?

Cutie girls

Daria Werbowy with the perfect modern bangs.
I think this one might work for moi.

Getting ready for Fall - Huh?

Next month I have to go to NY to buy Fall 2011 collections. It has been so cold there and I am not looking forward to layering up for the elements. The weather here at home has finally climbed up to our usual 70 mark and I am quite content to just tool around in my K. Jacques once again. Anyway, I started surfing the Pre-Fall Collections on Style.com to get a sense of what's to come for the end of this year (even though we've just begun.)

My absolute favorite - GIVENCHY!!! Beyond cool...colors, shapes, those high lace up boots...super chic!

VALENTINO - Always lovely and elegant!

BALENCIAGA - Funky, downtown, cool girl vibe. Love the background wallpaper. Gorgeous!

LANVIN - Alber Elbaz, I love you! Who thinks of these photo shoots? Taxidermy at its finest!

CELINE - Still love that bag and am happy to see that leopard isn't dead, since I bought these insane bags from Jerome Dreyfus for the stores that are leopard.

That's all folks...Will try to get back onto a regular schedule now that its the new year.
Ciao for now, JR
