This morning I came downstairs to take Drew to the orthodontist and he said, "Mom, I can't believe you are still wearing my shoes from 6th grade!!!" One minute you close your eyes and your babies have grown up and tower over you. We always knew that Drew would be tall, but he is growing at lightening speed right now and I see no end. Lately I have been really into mixing boy stuff with girly stuff when it comes to getting dressed. Maybe its because I live in a house full of men that I see how cute they look. As most of you know, I have a problem wearing closed toed shoes and really only feel comfortable in flip flops or sandals. So, I grabbed these grubby old Cons and threw them on with my gold jewelry and very old furry vest. (BTW its Michael Kors and no one wanted to buy it 7 years ago ~ everyone wants one now). Never mind that its going to be in the 70's today and I will be sweating by noon!
See...That's what I mean..you can do stuff like that and it turns out great! Thank God you're here! xo
ReplyDeleteYou are by far the cutest girl ever. I remember this vest, tried it on way back when and decided against it because I thought I looked like Chewbacca...by the way at almost 5'11", I DID! xx
